This charger seems to work just fine. I bought it for the manual mode to … I have used battery chargers for a lifetime and thought they were infallible. Forty plus years of use and my Schumacher took a crap on me. I was just on the verge of ordering the same model until it was determined that there were manual chargers and automatic chargers-each had a purposes and each had drawbacks. The automatic charger could not sense a totally discharged battery and thus it would indicate the battery had met its lifespan. A manual charge only knows there was a battery connected…
