LOVE this charger!!! Yes, it comes with the rechargable batteries! This this is so great! We have rechargeable batteries but, guess what, i forget to recharge them! And I hate buying new batteries for the Wii remotes plus it’s a drag when someone younger and shorter than myself is playing her favorite Wii game (We Cheer, FYI. Fine but way, way too bright Nice system — replaces the batteries with a rechargable battery, and replaces the back panel with a new panel that connects it to the charger unit. So if you have a non-white remote, you will now have a white back in that remote. If you use a rubber protector on the remote, you will either leave it off, or pull it down and up with each recharge.
